Bye-bye IE Mac… and good riddance

On a Mac? Using Internet Explorer for surfing the Net?
Well, other than the standard arguments for not usine Internet Explorer, using it on the Apple platform (i.e. OS X) has been somewhat silly ever since Apple launched Safari a few years ago, and not to mention other web browsers available for the Mac.
Microsoft stopped developing Internet Explorer for Mac well over a year ago. And with that, many, many web developers (mostly web standards developers) stopped testing in it. It was only a few months ago that here at 420 Design we decided to stop testing for IE for Mac as well. Yet some continued to use it. Now, however, there's no real reason to keep using it. Microsoft has officially ended support for IE for Mac. And at the end of this month, the download for it will no longer be available on the Microsoft website. (Read Microsoft's statement here.
Instead, why don't you try some other, better browsers: Apple Safari Mozilla Firefox Camino Opera
Trust us... you'll be much happier without IE.
