How much does logo design cost? Well, the cheapest from the article starts at $59. Cheap.

Unless I read your comment wrong, you're missing the point entirely. Do you really think a company that wants to establish a brand (which is different than slapping a logo on letterhead) is going to get the right logo for $59?

The problem with these cheap logo design sites is that they don't factor in what's most important: your company and its message. That is accounted for in the discovery phase which simply cannot be done in the 3-day turnaround these logo chop-shops have. This is just what David said in his post:

> "If a logo designer provides a fixed price before researching the project, ... they'll create a poor design by scrimping on the research stage."
