I’m getting duplicate emails in Outlook, what do I do?
First, make sure you're not getting duplicates on the server. That will help determine if it's a server issue or an Outlook issue. To do so, simply view your email via Webmail. If you are getting duplicates in Webmail, you should .
Next, double check the recipient addresses of the email. You may have been listed twice, or if you have two different email accounts going to the same inbox (such as a forwarded email) and someone sends you the same email to both address, duplicates will occur.
If neither of the above are the case, there are myriad reasons Outlook might be retrieving duplicates. Here are a few reasons and tips, some with links to more detailed explanations.

- Avoid leaving emails on the server
